Oil vs Bioenergy
At the World Bioenergy Conference in Sweden I learned today that in 2009 bioenergy accounted for 31.7% of final energy demand, while oil reached only 30.8%. That is quite an impressive result for Sweden and one that few other industralised countries can probably match. It's clear that Sweden is a world leader on bioenergy and breaking dependence on oil.
